For the staff application tippers...

On every staff app that doesn't have a timetable, one of you says to add it, right?
Well, lemme tell you this.
You do not need one.
RocTheWolf's app got accepted. He did not have a timetable. So why keep suggesting it? Just wastes time and makes it seem longer than it should be.

There is nothing wrong with a time table. It makes it look neater whether you need it or not. There are many things to complain about with comments on staff applications. However, this is least harmless, since people are actually offering advice and not pointless spam.

Sometimes people want to help, and that's how they help. Having a time table or not doesn't make a difference in being accepted or not. So why fuss about it?
If you really dislike these comments, then ignore them. It wastes more complaining about them than it does ignoring them.

I added a timetable myself and I'm starting to regret it but whatevs.
Anyway, by not adding a timetable, you make your application more concise, which apparently Dao likes from what he's told me ;)

 

Same thing with colours too.
It really annoys me when I see people saying "Add colour" they (most of the time) make it out like it has a massive impact on your chances of being accepted.

Giving constructive criticism like a time table is harmless. If you find harm in it, then why don't you complain about people that suggest to fix color or bold questions? None of those three increase anyone's chances of becoming staff in the long run. A person's behavior is the most important, and the staff could care less if an application is visually appealing. The only thing necessary is the format, which doesn't mention bolding questions or colors. The fact that it mentions the time shows that using a time table isn't completely necessary. If a schedule is a jumble of words it makes it harder for staff to understand when a particular person is on. The time is very important concerning that there are times when few staff are on the server/forums.

Now I'm not saying that people suggesting things like bolding questions and colors are making useless comments. I'm just saying that complaining about one thing is useless when others may fall into the same or lesser category.

Okay in all seriousness, It's really annoying.
It's not helpful, at all.
It doesn't matter how long the application is, it's about the effort and time spent.
The timetamble is the LEAST the staff even care about.

About tips. Well ok, it make every applicationwriter look like a dumbass but whatever. Go ahead, puzzle these guys efford.
