Will the server update to 1.9 {POLL}

I feel like people are overlooking 1.9 because of PvP. Now, I tested everything out on a single player world and the PvP isn't bad, it's just a change. I really like the additions to the End and all the new blocks and stuff. To me, playing 1.9 would seem like an adventure and I like adventures.

 

The only reason the whole PvP community doesnt want the update is because god internet and jitterclicking don't matter anymore as combat changed

 

Get 1.9. With 1.8 nobody plays on the server anymore, and 1.9 is so much better

 

Oh, I hope so... it being in 1.9 is bothering me.

Having to change versions every time I try to go to another server.

 

OK I don't see the huge deal with people and 1.9, you know you don't have to use the updates that have been given right? Most likely the developers will find a way to make PvP and everything from 1.8 and below the same. If you are mad and say your going to quit because of something that you are going to have to get used to and will benefit the server most likely anyways, then you don't have a suitable argument. Yes it will take awhile to configure the plugins to be compatible. But it will give the dev's something to do and give the members of the server something to look forward to.

The server is probably trying to update all the plugins and try to make a solution for the problem 1.9 not compatible with the plugins. They are trying to make it the usual way with coding that is complicated.

1.9 will be longer to update than 1.8. Probably make 1.9 and 1.8 both compatible in the server first than updating it to fully 1.9 . We gotta just get along with it.

Its good because we will have a flying race in "Minecraft" Creative 1 2 and 3.

Yeah its a bad effect for KitPVP but the server will try to make it compatible.

Be patient and trust the server.

 

I actually have to disagree with you on the bolded statement. The reason 1.8 took forever was because of the brand new UserID system. That meant that nearly every program had to be recoded from scratch. But with 1.9, you just gotta adjust to the new items, and get a new anti-cheat when you can.

 

You're correct but it will take quite awhile for 1.9 because of a lot of changes. Yes, the new items added are easy but the fast regeneration when eating food is a bit of a situation.

 

Not exactly, as that's a part of Minecraft. The Anti-Cheat will be Updated aswell with the update so it won't get in the way lol. Ofcourse the update won't be tomorrow, but it won't take 1 whole year lol.
