It's important that you read this because I spent a lot of time doing this. I'm not going to say everyone goes through depression. Because not everyone goes through depression. Not everyone has felt like you do now once in their life. Some people just don't go through it, they just live on. And that's okay. It's okay to feel like you are. And it's okay to ask for help, that's why I'm here, and a lot of others. Vai, when life gives you lemons, you give life back their lemons, because you wanted bricks. Lemons taste horrible. All you do is eat then, then they're gone. Bricks are your foundation, you build with bricks, you kill people with bricks, you make a living with your bricks. What I'm trying to say, is that you take what you have, and make something out of it. If your sitting around, waiting for something to happen, someone to tell you to do something, that's fine. But if you have nothing to do, go do something by yourself. Plan it on your own. Don't have someone tell you to do things all the time. If life is boring, YOU need to find out how to make it interesting. I know you can, you've just got to find it in you. It's okay to feel sad. It's okay to feel hopeless. It's okay to just want to pause. It's okay To feel like quitting. Nobody can tell you not to. This is your life, make the best of it. And if you need to talk, come to me. That is the main reason why I'm here. I just want to help. But I can't do much if you won't open up, and it's okay if you don't, I don't blame you. I went through the same thing. But I got up. Although I'm still brushing off the dirt, I got up. Vaicun, stay strong. We love you. ~Peeta.
The cycle you explained is what you're obliged to do. In Iran it is exactly the same. School, military, university, job. However, so many people in Iran enjoy their life. Why? They understand the reasons for all this is for the good of other people. Everyone who has a job provides a service for one another. With the resources collected from doing jobs, we can use what we've gained to enjoy ourselves :P People work all their lives working not only for the pay, but because the work helps other people, and the work other people do helps you. Take PC engineers. Working to make technology for the benefit of many people. You had to work to get no gain for yourself, but for many others, and those others end up doing work to also improve your life, with beds, cars, and other useful resources. Some are even made just for the sake of happiness like toys. Everyone gets to help with that cycle. You get to help so many people. They get to help you. You make each others life easier and enjoyable. Societies bond. Isn't that beautiful? c:
