I'm excited about the new enchantment table adds and also the name changes.

 

Adding on to what I said before, I'm also hyped for the banners and FPS boost

I hate the FPS optimisations, as I go from 100-200+ FPS in 1.7 to an unstable, usually below 60 FPS in the snapshots. So much for "optimisation". It's a hit and miss thing... unless you've actually tried the snapshot, you won't know if your FPS will increase, stay the same or decrease. I hope Mojang fixes this by considering more types of hardware...

Also, name changing isn't even confirmed to be released at the time of 1.8.
