Minecraft What got you...into Minecraft?

Basically, I got my first edition of MC on Xbox 360 back in 2012 when the game was starting to get recognition, and my 8 year old self was told about this "magical new game" by my friends in Primary School. So, 2 days later, we formed an Xbox Live Party and just played to our hearts content.

But, for my interest in PC, it was the @ItsJerry and @ItsHarry channel, alongside ExplodingTNT, I mean, today, August 10th is exactly 3 years since I first stepped foot on Play.ItsJerryAndHarry.Com.
From then on, my first proper friend group consisted of some friends of mine who ruined an RP and crashed a truth of dare.
And the rest is history.

My cousin showed me it about 4 years ago. I thought it was a cool game because you could do anything you wanted (if you had the right materials and stuff.) Then I figured out how to play Multiplayer, and all of that stuff.

 

Actually at first I wasn't that into minecraft because for me its just not fun playing pocket version (but at the time i didnt have a laptop and didnt know there was such thing as PC version mc) but after my brother let me play with him on his xbox and show me a few ExplodingTnt videos, all I wanted was a laptop and minecraft card. Fortunatley a few months later it was Christmas, and I got a laptop and a mc card c:

Like someone already said on this forum, look at me now, im addicted.

 

Way I got into Minecraft is KLJF22's video series: Blowing Up Minecraft.

 

Minecraft Xbox 360 was on my YouTube recommended list and I started watching those huge castle builds and everything so soon like 3 days after I started watching the videos, my Dad bought it for me. [It was only survival at the time]. I played for a while and then creative was realized. :OOOO I played that and made a huge ugly diamond block castle. I then saw PC version and I got it for Christmas and I played, download Mods, etc. Whatever like a 10-year old would do. I saw some YouTubers play on J&H and that's when I joined. When I joined I was furious I couldn't get a rank and someone asked me "ill buy you herobrine." and they never did, of course. But now I'm happy - loving the game, and just :). [i was furious i couldnt buy a rank but now i've spent like 700 dollars on the server. xD]

 

So.
My friend was playing this game with crap graphics.
I was like "What's that?".
He gave me his account.
I'm still using it till this day.
This game was my childhood.

My friend introduced it to me back in 2011 but I wasn't too keen of playing minecraft back then.

Then I stumbled into IJAH's videos which motivated me to play minecraft again. ;D

 

My need of letting my 5 year old creativity out.

 

Id say YouTube, I loved watching minecraft videos when i wasn't able to afford the game. I started out playing on the PS3, i was a huge survival fan! abouslutly fell in love with the game. i played it for hours on end. created huge structures, farms and topped the leader boards for kills to mobs on hard mode :3. its a wonderful game and i still love it till this day

 

ItsJerryandHarry inspired me to play the game and I have played the game ever since December 2013.
