I am a retarded turtle, so I'll just tell you everything about it; windows 7, acer aspire one netbook, with interl celeron, reaching two years old, also owned by the school, which their crap takes up most room. :(

Whoa, that's a lot of information :3
I think I can help with that problem now, try these options:
(Please note: I use a German Windows 8, so the Option names might vary.)

A): Allocate more RAM to Java/Minecraft, as mentioned before.
You can find out how much RAM is usable/installed by right-clicking in Windows Explorer (Not Internet Explorer, the File Browser) on the "My Computer" (or something similar, the top most menu even above C:// - Harddrive) and selecting Properties.

B): Update your Drivers.
A common problem is an outdated driver. It's simple to master.
1): Search in your Windows Menu for: Update Drivers
2): Locate your Internet, Graphic and Sound Drivers.
3): Use the available options above to update your drivers via the internet.

C): Update your Java Runtime Envrionment.
Simply grab the newest version on their official website. When you are using a 64-Bit environment (look it up as mentioned in A), make sure you install the 64bit version!

D): Start your launcher as an Administrator.
Simply Right Click and select Run as Administrator. Click "Yes" on the next pop up. This will add the process to the priority list (at least for every time you run it as an admin)

E): Check for Internet Lag.
Simply follow this link: Speed.IO This will take you to a quick and easy connection test. Close all unimportant programs before using this, it WILL lag out your internet to test how good it truly is.
If the Result is worse than "Good", consider either getting better internet or using LAN (Wired) Acess.

F): Get Optifine as soon as it is out.
You already know that, don't ya? :)

If everything fails, I suggest adding 0ther details about your computer to this thread OR creating a private conversation on the forums.

Hey Harry the survival should be worked on more because everyone wants it open also clouds the parkour map isn't a sign yet-this all needs to be fixed-Zed

 

Ram: This computer isn't very good for ram [2.80 gb is usable, out of 4 gb]
Drivers: My drivers are fine, the school takes care of that, thankfully
Java: Recently updated, but with 32 edition cause that's what my computer is like.
Admin: My profile is admin, plus I have set it so it ALWAYS runs as administrator.
Internet lag: Tried it, said it was [Excellent] plus, we have the best type of internet in Australia [ADSL 2] o_o
Optifine: My o my, optifine, shouldn't take this long to update it peoples. xd. But atleast with 1.6.4 I was getting up to 30 frames. Now the limit is ten, same settings. ;( Imma cri soon optifine. pls.
There really isn't much more I can explain about my computer. o_o

anywho, yes. survival has been the main part of the server for a very long time.
and as said many, many times, requesting lock to prevent further spam.
