If it symbolizes the army, it directly connects to what they did. Are you saying an army and what it does is not connected? Why do you think the Nazi symbol is so offensive?

 

Only Germans and Jews find it offensive.

 

It not's just Germans and Jews. People look down upon it and see it as a symbol of racism.

 

Not really. I just see it as stupidity not a racism symbol racism has no symbol

 

I don't see a point to having it anyway. Why is it necessary for anyone to have it? Maybe you don't believe it symbolized slavery, but maybe I do. If loads of people think it does, there's no reason to have one. It's just another excuse to say "the govrrnmant vileted my rites!1!1!"

But Cheetos are Cheetos. It has no political controversy around it.

 

Its necessary because we need to conserve our history and remember our ancestor. Just because some people find it offensive doesn't mean we cant have the flag all together. And the government can't get rid of them anyways because it is in fact a violation of the first amendment.

How about the whole Transgender bathroom issue? Many people find it offensive to have someone of the opposite sex in their bathroom but the government passed a law to accept that. (Sorry this is just the best example I though of, dont wont to get too off topic so lets not make this into an LGBT thread)

 

At this point, I want to say I never argued for government intervention. I basically have been trying to explain why it was offensive. People can wave it around all they want but it won't mean it isn't a sign of deep racism whether it's their intention or not. It's free speech lol.
