Minecraft The Combat Update - Minecraft 1.9 Overview

I know! People don't even bother to look at the website these days! I do, honestly and I'm not ashamed of it because they don't cover everything in those youtube vids that cover the snapshots.

 

Dude I can't wait for 1.9 I think its going to bring strategy to Minecraft PVP.

 

I just want them to fix hit detection so pvp won't be latency based.

 

I think the pvp nerf is a good thing because it stops people from spamming their swords repeatedly

 

Try jitterclicking while aiming, hotkeying, refilling, comboing while under the impression of not wasting your pots

 

At least try to speak english.

 

It is English, Jitterclicking is a technique where you click your mouse ~15 per second, hot keying is a term when using macros, such as hot keying to eat a notch apple. Refilling is simply refilling your hotbar with potions if you've ran out, and combo'ing is hitting your enemy multiple times in a row without getting hit yourself. And he's just talking about being conservative about your pots.

 

I know what all this means, but no one talks like that. You wouldn't go up to someone and start talking like someone who spends years on a computer.

 

I mean, considering this is an Internet forum, one can guess that 90% of everyone in the community has spent ATLEAST 1 year on the internet.

 

Getting on topic here, 1.9 will ruin PvP, or at least change it in many ways that will take forever to adapt. Shields are going to make the game a lot more different, but the fact of having to wait between sword attacks is just... no... I've recently returned to OITC, playing a few games a day but if we update to 1.9, I'm throwing away all of PvP in general. Despite the PvP area, I like the new blocks they're adding in 1.9. Also trapdoors now float in mid air. I'm glad with that, now I don't have to glitch doors and stack doors on top of each other just to make a shelf.

 

My reaction when 1.9 comes out.
