Staff Members are too Strict

Exactly.

 

I dont know about other staff members but if it looks like hacks, i ban them for hacks. If they really weren't hacking and can prove it, they'd make a ban appeal. For 'accusing' us staff of being too strict, you're living the wrong world mate cause people are living harder lives than most of us because of their strict presidents/prime ministers. Just because they seem like 'high profile' players, that is no exception. Everyone is viewed and treated the same way.
Ways that we(or maybe how I) know the player isn't lagging:

They are walking/running around fine, hitting other players. After this, I look at what hack they are using.

Seriously, if the player isn't hacking and they get banned, they'd make a ban appeal, that's all I can really say from this. I don't like how you are accusing us of being too strict. It's our job which we take seriously.

Firstly, it's not up to you to tell us what to do("staff members should do better"). We have the owners/admin that direct us. We would be demoted if we weren't doing our job correctly.
Secondly, you don't have to publicly try to humiliate us staff and make this thread as though you want people to gang up on us. Why can't you just complain to the owners via email or make a convo with all us staff? It just seems a bit immature of you to convince everyone we are stupid and hopeless. We ban people based on evidence. It isn't our fault if the evidence was falsely made. We don't know that. So you report us instead of the reporters who could be providing us with false evidence? You should think about who is really at blame here.
Thirdly, we all make mistakes. We all have different interpretations of various situations. We are told to ban based on our own judgement. So by this thread, you are basically discriminating our reputation, our beliefs and intelligence.

Lastly, we have /check <player> which means we can check history of bans and warnings of players. That report that Mira handled, he was bypassing a ban and most probably the ban was for hacking. I'm sure Mira would have done /check on the other account to see the ban.

Just resisting a flame war and I don't like seeing only a few staff being mentioned publicly and possibly feeling offended. Honestly, there is no need to get everyone else involved. You don't need others to like 'go on your side' to prove your point here. You report, you explain it yourself, you dont need like a 'wingman' or a few to back you up. It's your belief, your complaint, your words. If they have a problem, they would consult us via message. We'd rather not have people gang up on staff and you to be responsible for
