Skyblock and Creative chat

That has been there before. Perhaps you just always missed it?

 

This is SORT OF a good idea..at least could you make it possible to toggle it??! vv; Its lonely..and quiet now. I mean on SB1 I have this huge shop and I always to refill it whilst looking at chat to see if anyone wants to buy anything. I'm not gonna go to spawn and just stand there and wait, I find it quite pointless. Can you guys make it to where we can toggle the chat? I mean like /ignore is something we can all use.. please.. change the chat back to normal or at least where we can toggle that ish. Thanks for (possibly) reading. -Dubstepkitten

This runed the server i bought a premium rank recently and i enjoy playing on a server with chat because its fun seing others and playing with others. Its not fun anymore and feels boring, i also have a really nice shop and its really dumb to go to spawn, ask (Not everyone that might want to buy is at spawn) people to come to my shop and then tpacept. then go back and back and back again! THIS SUCKS! Please fix it were you can turn this feature on or off. Please!

 

This is quite entertaining for many reasons.

This happens everywhere, people ask for things to be fixed, then when they're fixed it's just OMG MTHIS SUCKS PUT IT AWAY.

I believe the word for this is hypocrisy.

This was implemented to reduce spam on chat...
You know, its a "chat", a place to TALK to others, not "advertise" and spam your stuff.

Keep in mind this is people's fault, since some of us keep spamming and filling the chat with crap.
Maybe, one day, when J&H feel like people stopped with everything, they'll remove this.

But for now, it was the best decision.

 

Ok, but i still believe if you can only chat within 100 blocks its more of a single player server than a Multiplayer server...

 

Everyone is complaining about their money, leaving the server, no one likes it, please fix this. I don't want anyone to leave the server nor want their money back.

 

With every person who leaves, 2 people join.

 

The spam is annoying. Personally, I haven't encountered terrible spam on Skyblock that wasn't either shops or friends talking to each other. Another idea other then the black market one is a private, friend chat, similar to faction chat. Thus, friends can talk to each other without typing /msg each time or without using skype. However, us shop owners DO need some way to sell wares, so a black market or some kind or chatting method would be nice.

 

The spam prevention is nice.
But can't they have this HUGE time-period cooldown?
For donors and defaults?
Like 13 or 9 seconds?
It would be easier than not being able to chat with someone that isn't building with you...
But it's a great idea and they should have this for a while.
A while.

 

I Like Old Chat Better Way Funner But Instead Can't We Just Have A Toggle Chat Or Ppl Can Just Make Chat Hidden?

Cause It's Really Annoying When Ppl can't hear Your Role plays in creative and going to spawn is actually a bit tireing

 

How are people going to advertise for shops and other things? Going to spawn won't help in creative at least because not a lot of people are at spawn and you cant message people individually, well you can, but maybe some people who would come might not get the message. I never really cared chat being spammed at all and if it did get annoying I would just turn chat off in Multi-Player settings and talk to my friends over Skype or use signs

 

I heard from someone that the server will be lagging and crashing for a week because of the plugin.
Uh oh.
Can't wait for lag.

This is a great change, but, I kinda would like the feature to toggle this on and off. Don't kill me.

 

Thanks for changing it, and when I went on the Creative Server, a lot of people wanted the old chat back.
