I was honestly all set to reply fully to everything you said until I saw this. There's really no need to answer if you immediately put the word 'Islamic' before 'terrorist' without Islam having been mentioned at all in the debate.

 

I did not create an alternate account, I simply feel like discussing.

If they find a way around it, then they'll just be deported. Stricter immigration laws will keep them out. If people try to destroy the wall, that only proves Trump right. In short, because Trump said that there are illegal immigrants who come to start violence, and trying to destroy the wall, or attacking the construction workers proves that we need stricter laws. If people from our own country try to do the same, they should immediately be put into custody. Security cameras can be placed by the wall to make sure people are not trying to destroy it.

I asked for what point he was trying to make since he mentioned America being called "Land of the Free." When I put that quick part at the end, I used that to show what liberals are essentially doing. It doesn't matter if we did not mention it earlier. But keep ignoring my other points I made, and pretending like their too stupid for you to respond to, when you simply just don't have good counter arguments.

 

Trump isn't the best person to be a president however he is obviously better than the witch Hillary. I think Trump should build a higher wall as the illegal migrants will have a less chance to get to the US.

 

On one hand, illegal immigration can cause damage to a nation. On the other hand, the freakin wall will put America in more debt than the immigrants will (although I haven't actually calculated it, and if someone can correct me on that be my guest).

 

Walls are pointless. Gonna copy and paste something that I did for science, and the article is from National Geographic. Not really an article, mainly photos.

"Borderlands" is about seeing the border between the U.S. and Mexico. Most of the photographs have a different type of wall or fence in them. One is made of wood with barbed wire behind it. Another is wood logs put into an X shape and logs put in-between them. Another is a basketball court with a fence behind it. A different photograph had a barrel with the word agua on it. It was put there by a humanitarian group.
I think the authors message was that walls and fences are kind of pointless. The article said how you can just tunnel under a wall or climb over it. It also said how expensive they are. It also included that walls are meant for two things - to keep out drugs and to stop migrants. But Americans are the ones wanting the drugs, and migrants will stop coming once we stop hiring them.
I agree with the authors message. Walls are extremely expensive, and they do just about nothing to help this country. Money should be spent stopping Americans from even buying the drugs instead of building walls and arresting Mexicans, while still using more and more money. With the migrants, I think that America needs them, and without them, almost everything food related would collapse. Farmers would have nobody to pick the trees, and our economy would collapse. We really need migrants to keep this country running.

Even when the illegals contribute more to our society then the ones who are legally here? Some of the people are teachers, lawyers, doctors, they have saved lives, and worked harder then most naturally born citizens. Not sure why you would want to remove something that gives a positive impact to America? And they don't really commit crimes that often. I guarantee I can find more gun related crimes then crimes committed by illegal immigrants, yet the idea of gun restrictions is completely insane to republicans! If you don't want to have tougher gun control, then why should we have tougher boarder control. Especially since building a wall won't work.

 

Although I agree with you, I wanna say that these illegals don't even get to to have jobs as being doctors or lawyers. They literally get the shitty jobs that an American wouldn't want. The stereotype job for a Mexican has always been a maid because that's the type of job that they can actually get. Americans complain that illegals are taking their jobs but the jobs that they're taking are the ones that they don't want. What kind of American dreams to be a maid or work as a delivery?

Haven't you noticed that school/mass shootings are mostly done by Americans? It doesn't make sense for someone to risk their life to come into the US to just commit a crime. The purpose of them coming to the US is because it's dangerous where they come from. Can you give me multiple examples of illegal immigrants committing crimes that have happened, "too many times"? The only reason why you think that illegal immigrants come into the US to commit crimes is because you believe in what all the media says. The orange man isn't gonna pay for the wall anyway. This is basically pointless. He fooled all of his supporters. He promised a wall but all I see is a big white lie.

Ok, evidently nobody here knows how farming works. All of the nation depends on food. This means, all of the nation depends on immigrants, whether they be here legally or not. My grandparents own a 2000 acre farm, and you know who is picking cherries out there in sweltering heat for minimum wage? I'll tell you this, it's not Americans. It is almost always Mexican immigrants. Us lazy AF Americans aren't going there, and we're the ones complaining about there not being enough jobs? There are plenty of jobs, but we don't want to do them. As for them bringing drugs, the reason they bring them into America is because WE'RE the ones wanting them, the ones buying them, the ones bringing them into our nation. Drug cartels will stop when Americans stop. Now about a wall. IT'S A WALL. THERE'S THIS FANCY THING CALLED A SHOVEL, AND I KNOW IT SOUNDS CRAZY BUT YOU CAN DIG UNDER A WALL. PLUS, THERE'S THIS OTHER THING CALLED A LADDER, AND YOU CAN CLIMB OVER A WALL. Now if you say that the wall will be 20 feet underground and 50 feet above the ground... just no. So much for lowering taxes. Each mile of FENCING at the normal height it is now costs over 3.8 million a mile. But for a wall, and quite a few more miles? We're talking atleast billions for the final cost.

As I said before, there are these fancy things called shovels. A higher wall will NOT stop migrants from getting to the U.S.

 

There are these fancy things called sonar and seismic sensors to detect any tunnels under the border.

 

There are also these fancy things called going through it before it is covered up.

 

You do realize with the advancement technology, we can soon detect tunnels as they are being made? Border patrol can soon achieve an almost 100% success rate in preventing people from getting through in tunnels.

Also, a double fence system works better than a wall, as there will be a highly monitored stretch of ground between both fences. This combined with all the tech that’s being developed, should allow border patrol to achieve a near 100% success rate in catching illegals.

 

There are purchaseable sensors that can already detect small motions in the ground, and others that can detect pockets of air, caverns, or tunnels in he ground. Now there arent sources applying these sensors to the border, but there are some talking about the promising effectiveness of these sensors.

Now there are ground sensors that work well, but not specifically to the objectives Border Patrol wants them. The government is developing efficient and effective sensors to fill in this role.
