Zhu Xiao-Mei (piano) -> her interpretation of the goldberg variations is amazing
Biber -> his Harmonia artificioso-ariosa
Beethoven -> his latter string quartets
Debussy -> his chansons de Bilitis

Jazz:
Otomo Yoshihide (avant-garde) -> his jazz stuff, especially his New Jazz Orchestra
Louis Armstrong -> his early recordings

Experimental/avant-garde:
Graham Lambkin (musique concrète) -> Amateur Doubles and Salmon Run
Mural (free imrov.) -> Live @ Rothko Chapel
Butch Morris (avant-jazz/modern classical conductor) -> a conduction collection

Vertigo Sea (2015) - saw at a local contemporary art museum. don't miss out on it if it's exposed at a museum near you!

Two immense classics I got the chance to get into:
Froth on the Daydream by Boris Vian (absurdist comedy, surrealism) and If This Is a Man by Primo Levi (autobiography, non-ficiton). Both highly recommended!
