Why would the owners ban us?

Well, you need to remember, Both flare AND pyro went up to the owners and insulted them. Being rude to them is only payback, no?

 

Sorry to 3/4 of the forums but I have to agree here. The incident is 90% of why people dislike the two.

Also, let's try to stop talking about the Pyro-Flare incident here. DWG said not to.

I don't know about the whole story of Pyro, so I'll leave It In the side, I don't want to be Involved in his problems.

But Flare, to me, doesn't even deserve the first chance. After he got demoted, he barely comes on and spreads complete hate, yes, I said that a lot but It doesn't get through people's mind. He barely even spent time on his Job, yet he acts like he Is one of the helpful and active moderators.

Also, this kind of thread has been made several times, and I suggest that you guys should stop bringing the drama back.
Now to the Treepid thing, he Is really.. much wow.

So after he resigned, he was sure about It. after a few days or a week he came crawling back for the rank. But a no Is a no, but guess what?

I agree with the Owners, he Is trying to get attention, he keeps on acting like an Immature child, he doesn't understand decisions.

Pyro, He doesn't look like a bad person to me, he seems reasonable, but he can be quite offensive.
But Flare, He Is doing things someone shouldn't do for lame reason he caused to himself.
I don't understand why people are saying I'm CyberBullying him , I thought he was banned, so I told his friends, It's not my fault they can't keep a simple conversation to the keep.

 

I feel the hate directed towards Pyro and Flare is unnecessary, and ironic behaviour. First off, I think many of us agree that back then, staff, and by that I mean all staff, we're slacking off a little. Staff applications were left with no response, survival was down with no public explanation, and people were irritated. It's fine now, but think about that.

Pyro and Flare were more critical in their word usage, and that was what apparently got them banned, and I understand. But I feel that Flares ban screen, THIS:

Right now, you guys are attacking the thing most important to everyone: your voice. You wish to completely silence them, shoo them forever way, not even caring about their own feelings. Is redemption not an option in this community? Just because they were punished for one thing, doesn't mean they are undeserving of another.

Probably the most sensible and logical point ever made about the Pyro-Flare incident. I would create multiple accounts to like this post if I was allowed to. I couldn't state it any better myself.

I'd like to clear a few things so we stay on topic here. I am talking about ANYONE banned. So, let's say Yomc was banned(Highly implausible), and people were relating his messages. Allowed, or not? We really are clashing morals with facts, and we need to choose one. Yes, Pyro and Flare inspired the thread, but weren't the reason. If you want to talk and stay in touch with banned members, that's your biz and it's fine by me. But, this is a public forum. We need to abide by the rules, and patch any loop holes in them. It is a responsibility as a member of any forums, and of this community to do so!

 

It's also not hard to tell who you are talking about. Who are the two forum veterans that were banned and came back temporarily?
Pyro and Flare.

I seriously do not get why people choose to continue to hate. It's been months; why bring it up again? Why remind everyone?

However, if it is brought up, and is discussed...

I will be there. I respect Pyro and Flare for reasons you will not understand, and that's just my opinion. I will accept and admit the mistakes I believe they made, but I swear I will hunt down every spark of flame that is directed at those two.

And Rockor, I said that they Inspired it. Don't try to twist my words. I do see where you come from, but we can't defy our responsibility as a democratic-like forum. It isn't ethical or responsible to allow it. As Yomc, it's basically bypassing a forum ban.

Do they have feelings? Yes, we are all human, no? Shooing them away forever? Not from your lives. I'm not forcing you to drop contact with any banned user. .-.

Look, let's admit it. We'd rather brush off these decisions and stay cool with it than debate like this, but these decisions will help keep peace easier in the near future. Ok?

Please don't make any more posts of Flare or Pyro on this thread. Yes, they did inspire it; but, I did this to try and help in the long run. This is the second post that I said it. Wasn't it clear the first time?

 

My message was more so directed at the replies, but still, my point still stands. Just because someone was banned for something specific doesn't mean that they are inadequate in others. How do you think Saul and Misfit got here?

 

Can't you all learn to leave it in the past already?
They're banned, they're gone and they're never coming back unless the owners choose to let them return.
They're much better off without being in this community and they don't deserve to be insulted behind their backs by everyone they called their friends. I've seen a lot of things go on ever since these three got banned e.g. harassment and conversations and stuff that should not be announced out loud. Just leave it in the past where it belongs.
