Interesting that incidents without fatalities or injuries are considered “shootings.” Thank you for this.
Yeah, almost. In all seriousness, I don't understand why people are allowed to buy fully automatic guns. I must ask, how many lives have been taken with automatic weapons? How many lives have been saved? (Only in civilian situations, not in the military.) I have a feeling that more have been taken than saved. If they allowed guns in school, what happens when you miss? Another innocent civilian injured? That's exactly what our country needs right now. I am so proud of those teenagers that are speaking out against automatic guns. THAT is what America REALLY is. Not Trump's tweets. Our fellow Americans standing up for what they believe in. Not senseless tweets. Shootings mean that someone is shooting at real, living people that have friends and family. It doesn't mean that they died, although that is common in shootings.
I actually can agree with Trump for once! He is pushing to implement Gun-regulations, similar to those Obama wanted. Today he even called out Senators for being afraid of the NRA. Just thought I would post this here as its related to the shooting.
Okay I get that, but when I hear “shootings”, I think of something completely different rather than some kid shooting a pistol into the air in a parking lot or a kid accidentally shooting the floor. The link provided states that Everytown considers these incidents as school shootings, even though they don’t quite fit your description.
