My dad and stepmom are like really cool and chill and they raise me good.

But my mum.

Yosh is right. My mum is a dick. She literally never leaves me alone.

Whenever a "girl thing" occurs she's always all over me about it. Excuse me I am not five I know what blood looks like you don't need to tell me to keep track of it. Every. Freaking. Hour.

I go to my room to watch Netflix or browse tumblr, or build on minecraft, she literally Asks me like "what are you doing who are you talking to do I know this person where do they live what is their name how old are they where did you meet them do you know them from school are you friends are you dating this kid I never told you you can date especially not strangers from the internet what is wrong with you?!?! No more computer for the rest of the month. +flips hair and walks away+.
Yeah.
Whenever I try to watch my premiere on Mondays she literally SITS THERE AND READS HER COMPUTER AND I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE ITS "HER HOUSE". I hate it when she does that because since I've never seen the episode because it is a premiere, I'm like afraid that something questionable will happen and she will look up like "dafauq".

Post Script: oh yeah, did I mention that LITERALLY ever time my mum and dad talk they are yelling at each other or whisper fighting. I'm not kidding. I am so glad they live in two different cities, becuse if they didn't, they would've burned each others houses down by now.

 

My parents are awesome... My mom is like "Oh yeah, play tf2, I had more violent games that I played!" And I actually taught her the memes so eah she knows... but she smokes, and I TRY SO HARD to get her to stop... She lets me eat however much I want of what she makes (I ask her for specific stuff normally) She is currently unemployed and getting a job. BAD ADD THOUGH! But she is great! She even bought me my minecon cape from eBay for $170! Even though she is often broke. (We get most money from my rich grandpa)

My dad...? Well.... he is Okay, but he often visits the bar, perhaps nightly, to get a drink. He lets me stay up until 4 AM, which is normal and maybe even early for me, and he owns his own company in accounting. He has 2 fake hips to get around. He did buy me a trip to Greeve, though, which is what my summer plans are. Not the best at food. But still pretty good.


Note: I have never been grounded...

I want to say a lot more but meh


(My mom and dad live in different states and are divorced, WHEW! They were fighting a ton. It got physical a few times.)

I like my mum, she's a good mum. She feeds me and puts a roof over my head so... she couldn't be better! :D

My parents *sigh* thats some story.

I don't hate my parents, well my dad is (of course) the 'chill' one. He would let me do ANYTHING, other than the tiniest things like walking around the house without shoes.

My mom, well my mom and I have boundaries. When it comes to my computer (or the internet) I swear...

I still admire my parents, of course I wouldn't be here without them after all.

It is because we are getting some construction done in our house and there is dirt and dust everywhere on the floor.

I feel bad seeing threads like this, how many people out there have bad relationships with their parents.
Then again I also see positive stories wich make me happy.

 

I love my parents, with near all my heart. But, sometimes I really dislike them. No, I've never hated my parents, but I've gotten angry like any other kid has done.
Dad - I love my dad so much. He tries his hardest to be with me, but his job prevented that but he just got a new work shift that's during the day, so he can finally have a normal sleep schedule and spend more time with me and my sister. He always tries to make sure me and my sister are happy, and he is so proud of me. He barely went to my Orchestra concerts, but when he did I always was happier when he was there.
Mom - She can be sometimes...meh. I still love her as much as my dad, she always helps me when I'm sick unlike my dad, but she does things I really don't like. It's an own personal problem, but mer. I still love her so much, and she almost always goes to my Orchestra concerts, she drives me around to friends, and other places. She is really protective of me, but that's because she doesn't want me getting hurt. She even convinced my dad to get me my own violin! (Means a lot for me, since I've wanted one for 4 years).

Spoiler: Personal Issue...

Well, my mom always teases me. Now, she is joking, however it does really hurt and I've even told her that. She always points out acne, girl week, weight, and my eyesight. My entire family does this besides my dad. They'll say things like, I'm a toothpick, or I better watch out for walls right in front of my face. It does hurt since I do have my own issues already for 3 years.

 

Nowadays saul,many adults/childerns have a bad relationship with their parents.Some parents can hurt their own childern by hitting them or by calling them names.Like you said of course there will be some parents who are normal and thank god...so sad to see other people in pain by their own parents.. :/

I agree saul, some peoples life can be hard cause of their parents, and most of them are caused by drama, or Drug use. i mean look what happened to my dad.

But I can tell you mine wasn;t flowers and sunshines either.

 

Yeah, well. Now because of the recent stalking issues and kids doing things on the internet they shouldn't do, parents get overprotective a lot.

Damn, you have no idea how many times my parents tried to turn on parental control on my laptop. It's a good thing I don't tell them the password and that I bought it with my own money.

 

Same with my mom.. She sees me typing: WHO U TALKIN TO!?! NO CHAT NONONONO
