New Spawn - Options

What I like: The big portal is good because it makes it easier for new people to find. I honestly liked the old spawn a lot more (no offense) because it had parkour islands and I liked the detail. This one isn't colorful, too.

I think the old hub was WAY less laggy, and easier to get around to. But then again, I REALLY like the Meth Lab on the new one xD. I think the only 2 things better about the new spawn is the Easter eggs and the parkour.

I'm gonna go with switching to the old one.

 

I like thinking of J&H as a small friendly server than, well, Mineplex.

Separate portals for each game like the old spawn could be nice if it's decided not to change back.

 

When I saw the lobby, I Was suprised. I Seriously wanted to kill anyone who said It's like hypixel or It's not good.
The hard work on the lobby is obvious, And in my opinion. It's one of the best builds I've ever seen.
And about lag, TONS of people already were lagging even in the old lobby, It probably won't change much.
I'm always very happy with any build on this server, It's kind of inspiring anyways.

 

If we keep the new one and can personalize it, maybe a feature where you can turn on weather and turn off weather. Of course it only affects you, as it would make others lag if they dont have the greatest computer.

If its winter I can enable snow, summer sun, etc.

 

Honestly, i like the new one, i think it's just being 'criticized' is because people are used to the old lobby, which we had since 2014...
But the old lobby is just that, OLD. Everything that could be found in it, was found. I honestly think the only thing that could be added is maybe a parkour island or two? As that was pretty fun

 

The new lobby is way too "plugin-attached" and kinda limited.

I say, bring back the old one.

 

I really enjoy the New Lobby, because it is new and fresh. It also gives me as well as others a chance to explore and have fun!

 

The reasons people defended the old spawn is the same reasons why then needed changing in the first place.
~Easter eggs, all found no more use for those in the old spawn. Plus there is nothing exciting about most easter eggs.
~Layout, the floating island is WAY more overused than the new one and all the portals meant the ground had to be completely flat that is a big no no in builds.
The server needed this change and for anyone who doesn't appreciate the new spawn is the people that can't build to save there lives. (Sorry if that was harsh.) If you had any clue how difficult and the long hours spent building that thing you really wouldn't be complaining. the whole spawn is the best build I have ever seen from this server whether I it be terra or structure and the overall layout is something that could be expanded upon.
I really hope the empty space doesn't gets turned into a giant easter egg clump like the old spawn. but if this spawn gets the boot, I will be furious the way the community has acted as it is really ridiculous to say "I don't like this take it away" because this is a great build.

 

I was never to close with the old lobby, I did all the parkours a few times, ran around herobrines head maybe, but was never that close with it.
The main things I like about the old one (that I think should be added) are:

• The jump pads
• More Easter eggs
• The giant booty above the sumo portal

I haven't had much time to look round the new spawn, but as far as I can tell, it's absoloutly amazing! I can see why some people are criticising and as its been said in previous replies, it's a MASSIVE change! I personally think we just need to give it time.

Here's my ideas on how to improve the new spawn:
You know those tiny, floating island things?

Yeah those things. Maybe you should build more of those, but instead lead them to different minigame portals and remove the big portal at the front with something related to the server. Like maybe the J&H symbol.
So to break it down to small dot points:

• Make the small, floating rocks lead to different minigame portals
• Replace the big portal at the front with something related to the server and forums like the J&H symbol.

I really love the new spawn btw. It makes the reputation of the server high so new players are encouraged to stay. But I think some new features to it can make everyone happy c:

 

Suggestion that will help you out: ban anyone who doesn't like it.
