My 2nd version of TBH

Oh my, these are overdo. I apologize.
Let's begin. Um, you were on the new forums. I don't remember you existing on the old forums at any given point, after all. And when I saw you, I had one thought: "I'm willing to bet that this person has never played Starfox, otherwise they wouldn't have a "the" in the name to separate the words." Needles to say, apparently I was right. That's an interesting starting point.
I really didn't notice much significant about you for a while. I mean, you got in on the whole scout craze. That's pretty good. Scout's actually become a pretty fun class for me now as well (now that I can switch weapons far more easily). That's about all that I have to say in that part.
You getting promoted was... Unexpected, mainly because everyone was too busy expecting the promotions of others. That being said, it's not like it was a mistake. You have a kind personality about you, and a very amiable one at that. People with amicable personalities are certainly fun to be around.
Oh, another thing to give you kudos points? You still have a sense of humor.
Too many staff members are fun to be around before they're staff and lose their sense of humor when they get promoted. In fact, many get detached from the community, not being fun to be around and having a "holier than thou" attitude. You haven't become arrogant as a result of your promotion, and you're still just as connected to the community. And that's a very good thing indeed.
Honestly, that's what helpers really need to be - in touch with the community.

Vai, I'll start with something here: there's this guy on YouTube that is meant for you to watch him. It's fate. You may have already seen him, but if you haven't, I guarantee you that you'll love him.

You were on the old forums under the name _____, which I won't say because it's something you seem to like to keep in the past. I noticed in my lurking. And naturally, my attitude towards the new forumers remained the same...

That's not actually the right meme, I'll get the right one later. Consider that to be a filler.
Point is, I hated the new forums because of the old forums' supposed superiority, and hated all the members that came on the new forums only as well.
Then in December things got a little chaotic, as I'm sure you remember. A few changes happened, and then a few more within the next couple of months.
You liked SAO. I practically credit myself with bringing SAO to the forums, even though @_Magical and @HuskyWolfPawr both technically had SAO avatars before me. So they pretty much deserve full credit. But either way, I remember when SAO spread around the forums like wildfire. And soon enough, everyone was a fan of the anime. I'm going off on a random tangent here; I don't know where I was trying to go with this part.
(SAO is still an amazing starter anime, that's something at least)
You underwent a major, and I mean major personality shift in the summer. I mean, like, whoa. Supposedly you say it's because you understood that your application wouldn't be accepted, so you stopped acting as someone you weren't. That's a good reason. People kissing up to staff to get a position themselves are fairly dishonest, and while honesty might not be the best policy, it's certainly important for staffs.
So I understand why you became a lot more standoffish. I saw a bit of various fiascos here and there. Yeah, you were standoffish alright - rude sometimes, of little temper, quick to a retort. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. You're not the most standoffish or rude person I've seen on here. And if the person in mind happens to be reading this... Well, they know just who I'm talking about. Of course, the chance of that happening is close to none.
Regardless, you bring up good points in retorts. Some of the most prominent figures in history had suspicious and low-tempered natures. That oft saved their lives and brought them to the throne. Not every weakness is just a weakness, it can be a strength as well. Find a way to turn that into something for your advantage, and you'll go far.
(Also, please don't take offense to me still referring to you as a girl by accident from time to time - while Goobs tried to explain genderfluid to me, it's fairly easy for me to forget things)
Oh yeah. I remember in September, you were asking people about the meaning of life. We talked about that at one point on Skype.
If you asked me, I'd say there are multiple meanings. I wrote a paper for fun just a few months back trying to state it, actually. It had various holes, but if you can prove that "freedom of choice" is an illusion, then logic can get you pretty close to the answer.
Try thinking through it for yourself. It's a lot of fun to solve philosophical questions.
