    Minecraft as a whole is dying it's not just the server.
    I grew up playing on this server and it makes me sad seeing it die but, I mean, playing the same game for over 5 years without any major updates makes the player feel uninterested and bored. I don't believe that it's the servers fault rather the game's fault for not providing anything new and refreshing.
