I usually make a new layer for my lineart.

Is there an option to add more layers to your drawings in the art program you use? If so, I add another layer and draw trace the final sketch outline there.

 

Yeah, I got a Perp liscense to Sketchbook Pro 7 while ot was $30. I'm just wondering how you do a 1-stroke line good, bc I can't seem to on digital art, unlike freehanding ;-;

 

Well, the thing I use in Paint Tool SAI is somewhat of a lineart tool that curves the lines as you click, so for this particular drawing, I was testing it out, it worked quite well. I've never worked with Sketchbook Pro before, so I am not sure if that has a similar tool; but I usually just take the default pen brush and trace the lineart. It takes a while for me.
