Like almost nobody added proof for their numbers :p Too lazy to add my entire specs so have a 3dmark11 bench http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/9279409 Done http://pcpartpicker.com/p/N3ck7P Eisberg is the 240 edition. Partpicker dont have it xD

With shadermods it drops to around 60 to 120fps depending on what it has to render. Seus 10.1 is ridiculous demanding.

Wait, I just realised you said highest fps? If so, I went on minecraft at my school, and they have i7 processors, and a good video card, and I got 2700 fps on minecraft without optifine. So 2700 I feel like da big boi's now.

    That's in singleplayer.

On skyblock I get no more than 20.

My highest amount of FPS with my crappy PC is 400. But my new PC can make 2600 fps in single player. =3

Not to be a dick or anything, but I've seen the specs of that new computer you're talking about, and mine are better, and mine usually doesn't go anywhere near that amount (normally. 2600 is still achievable w/o much effort). You should be looking around 600 at high average, with normal frames in any situation being 250.

Does anyone know how I can make my PC faster? I have never gone beyond 140 fps ever.

I did get like 770 once with optifine, but it does that right when I log in. I get a big boost up to like 6 or 700's, then drop down to the 20's.

Delete any shit on your computer you don't/rarely use. Storage with less space taken = overall faster system.

How much space did you clear in terms of GB?

I did not count, but experts are telling me it's not file space, but malware. Any idea about that?

Have you got an Antimalware and antivirus program on your computer? If so I'd suggest running a scan on both.

But yea, if you cleaned up a lot of space on the drive MC is stored on (C) and there was no performance gain, you most likely have a virus/malware/worm, etc.

Well, I do own an ALIENWARE M17X, which I got in late 2011. People are also telling me it's my graphics card. I also have antivirus. Avast, in fact. But no antimalware. To be specific, I thought Malware was a good thing at first, until today...

EDIT: 100th reply, and 1,000th post. Yay!
