Red drives are EXPLICITLY for use in NASs and SANs.

They are NEVER to be used in desktop environments. EVER.
The Red drives are specifically tuned for environments where there's no cooling, and the device may be embedded.
(Don't get this confused with Purple, which is for video recording, or Ae, which is for archival storage)

They're more of a beefed-up Black.

Nope.
Blacks you can use in a desktop RAID environment.
Although, if you have extra cash laying around, I GUESS you could go for the Yellows. (Though, at that point, you should be considering SSDs.)

That seems quite decent.
EDIT: a AMD Radeon HD7570 is overpowered tho lol

 

My computer actually doesn't have a tower. The CPU and everything comes with the monitor. They're all connected.
