When South America is glassed and China and Japan starts a war with each other, they form alliances with others, and World War III begins.

 

When World War III begins, crime is found everywhere and your dad gets hit over a can of soup.

 

Then Russia invades New York for no reason, then the US sends in a team of 4 people in Delta Force.

So if your computer didn't crash, WWIII wouldn't have begun and aliens wouldn't have invaded.
