It's story and hidden clues to the story are different from that of any other horror game I've ever played, the suspense is thick enough that you can almost feel it, and then add on all the horrible (by horrible I mean extremely scary) and perfectly timed jump scares, it's a perfect game.

But doesn't it get redundant?

Well, it's both. It's always tense because you know that you might get a jump scare at any moment, so you are constantly trying to prevent that from happening. That part of the gameplay, the strategy to prevent being killed, is the fun.

So it's easy to lose but fun to play.
Like FTL. Hm.

In some ways, yes. If you can find a strategy that works for you, it makes it easier, but nothing ever makes it 100% sure you will win.

Unless you just close the left door on the first day.

first day is easy no matter what :P you can sit in your room and just use the lights and never the cameras
not too hard.
foxy and freddy are the only real reason you should ever need to use the cameras :P

I don't even know if that will win you the first night. Chica will still come to you from the right side, night 1 and 2... so yeah.

But if you never open switch to your cameras?

I'm pretty sure there's a way they can still kill you.... the developer would have had to thought of that when he was doing updates
