Especially when they drag it into other affairs completely such as like spamming when somebody gets WKM or threads about people leaving for a while and people getting all pissy about that on people's threads. It's all over. Seriously, act mature people. STOP.
And no YOMC, I'm not just making this to make cheap shots at you. It's happened before with Potato® and all sorts of people, and with the ones I saw before I responded the same way.
"You who complain about the community do nothing"
At least I'm doing something. At least I'm taking an action.
The problem lies in people who don't act.
No, I'm not making another response to this comment afterwards.
So if you want to have the last word on this comment that totally isn't directed at me, go ahead.
I invite you to reply again, since I'm not trying to get the last word here. Scout said that people who complain make it worse, but there's a difference between complaining and stating a problem. What you've done is stating the problem and suggesting a solution. But, there need to be lines that are drawn on the correct places to state such ideals.
It's true that if somebody is doing the thing you dislike and want to change then it would be fine to mention it in that place as an example and to spread awareness, but Joey didn't like spam himself, so in that case it wasn't an appropriate place to mention it.
Meh.
Either way, the fact that like spamming hurts the forums needs to be put out there. One way or another, that thread was an example of it.
Whether he like spammed himself or not, isn't it only natural that it's made an example of and advised against?
I'd also like to add that I wasn't really directing what I said at Joey (at least, I didn't intend to).
Instead, my attempt was to direct it at @Lastboy11 , the person who like spammed him.
I would accept that, but it just wasn't the right time. I myself have changed my view on like spamming from what you've said, but as I said, it just wasn't the place. I say we end this now since we understand each others point of view and it's basically been solved c:
Is any of this even needed...seriously. I stick to what I said on said "WKM thread": I agree that post count and like count should be treated the same. I disagree that it should be treated like a crime. Right now, i'm legitimately starting to think the only reason there's drama over the two, is because people keep complaining about it...
