I can safely say you treated your friend well, life didn't. Stay strong until the end, we will all face it one day. Live each day like your best, don't waste a day on bullshit called deppresion.
I'm sorry to hear. It's tough, but try to make the best out of it while you still can. Don't let the depression slow you down, I can safely say that your friend wouldn't want you to worry too much. It sounds selfish and easier said than done, but do it for him and yourself.
Nevertheless, we're always here for you brother. <3
This is obviously much worse than a few of us have had to deal with in our own lives but I know how you feel in a scenario where a 'loved' one is there one day and gone the next.
It feels awful and there is no point me explaining it but just reassuring you that if you need support or help at any time or anywhere I am happy to help you personally.
So if you need any of us, please ask.
I know the feeling. A close friend of mine was diagnosed a while back with Lung Cancer. He was originally set to die 3 years ago, but now the life expectancy was pushed up to 2021. The most important thing is just to be there for him/her. I wish you the best of luck and happiness with the time you have with your friend.
Really sorry that I don't know you all that well, but I'm incredibly sorry to hear that. You and your friend are in my prayers, keep strong and I hope you know all of us are here anytime for listening. (:
