If they do dual typing like X&Y, this is my theory:
Rowlet will drop the flying type and get a psychic type
Litten will grab a dark typing
And Pipplio will snatch up the fighting type. That can work pretty well, survivability and water tanking added with the pumch of a fighting type

Tank or not ice typing will be balls terrible with the one exception of useful-ish stab

oh no, water fighting would be great

but still, fighting and rock weakness would be bad, even though bug/grass and rock/ice still are the worst typings in the history of the universe
