It's still active. In fact, the SCP Forum is active, but it moves at a slower pace than the JH forums because most of the members are 20+ and have jobs or something.
It also depends on which SCPs you're looking at. The Per-page Discussion forum is active on Series III because there's a lot to post on new things. If, for example, you take from Series I, you'll get inactive discussion threads.
Ah. Right. I completely forgot that most are adults and not teenagers. My bad. There seems to be a lot of disliked SCP's on Series III though, excluding things like the Mr. ------------ ones (Mr. Lonely, Mr. Lost, etc.). I've seen negatively rated SCP articles as well. Are the main/important people such as Dr. Gears or Dr. Bright still active? (Old ones, ones that made popular ones from Series I.)
Series III is incomplete and we're still writing on it. SCPs that are not up to standard or just horrible are deleted. I've seen an SCP sunmarily deleted at -56 votes. Many of the more important people are still active (Bright/TDM, Clef), but Gears and several others are inactive. Gears, as far as I heard, has to support a family and is working on CB:Run.
