    Erm...oh, wait.

    Is it the scientific notaion (or whatever) for the types of forces?

    Fg = Gravitational force
    Fn = Normal force
    Ft = Tension force
    Fe = Electromagnetic force
    Fm = Magnetic force
    Fa = Applied force
    Ff = Friction force
    Fd = Elastic force (?)

    OH DANG SO CLOOSSEE FD is not elastic and FE is not electromagnetic (wrong word right idea)

    Or is Fd = Drag force?

    drag force is correct for fd elastic for fe is not

    Fe = Magnetic?

    Running out of ideas here...

    K, I'll give it to you. Fe= Electrostatic Force

    Oh, ffs, ElectroSTATIC.

    For the one time my science notes could have been helpful...lol

    honestly, the reason they call it electrostatic escapes me. Electric Force or Charge Force would make so much more sense imo

    tbh, you made it kind of easy (even though it took me a bit to figure it out, and in the end, I still didn't completely get it).

    And yeah, I agree. But you know, it's got to be scientific and all that lol.

    Well, the hints i gave would have meant nothing to most of the people on the forums considering their age. Studying for a ap physics final exam made me think of the name.

    Oh, AP? Lol, i'm only in normal Physics (yay, Freshmen), and my teacher is...well, not the best.

    Just looking at the name, I immediately thought "Elements...Periodic Table". After you said that was close, and I began looking closer, forces started to appear.

    And then, the theoretical light-bulb lit up, lol.
