It depends honestly. There's nothing wrong with calling someone gay unless the person is using it as an insult, which it isn't.

I know what gay means. You don't understand what I said. I said that it's not wrong unless someone is using it as insult. That means the person takes it into account as an insult and says it to someone else. That's wrong because being gay is not insulting.

Calling someone "gay" is just a term people use in today's society unconsciously and they don't realized what it can mean to some people. And being gay goes against some peoples religious beliefs, however I am a strong Christian and think its fine to be gay.
