This was about a week ago, but this is still a problem. Google, one of the largest companies in the world, has ruined one of the world's greatest websites. Ever since Google purchased YouTube 2 years ago, things have been different. The subscribe button was re-colored, the like bar changed, and we had a few format changes. But now, you've screwed up Google. Google owns a social network site called Google+. It was essentially created to be competition with Facebook, Twitter, etc. It flopped. Nobody actually likes it. So Google is promoting their horrible product by "integrating it" into their BEST PRODUCT. You cannot watch your channel, get videos from your sub box, or even comment without signing in with Google+. The video where YouTube introduced the new comment section has 96% DISLIKES. A lot of people have expressed their complaints about this system, like NerdCubed and boogie2988. The entire comment section is filled with 'Bob's army' pictures, and there is even a petition on change.org to change it back. If you want to know how many signatures it has, click the link at the end of this thread. You won't believe it. And yesterday, the like bar was CHANGED TO FREAKING BLUE. Copying Facebook much? Congratulations Google, you have ruined a great service. If you don't change it back, then literally ALL OF YOUTUBE WILL HATE YOU. The videos down below give some great explanations. Credits to NerdCubed, Boogie2988 and Emma Blackery. WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE http://www.change.org/petitions/google-change-the-youtube-comment-section-back-to-its-original-form
Yeah, yeah, we've heard it a thousand times. Surely the new comment system is shit, but haven't we had enough spam about it yet?
I agree. I use an outdated YouTube on my phone to be able to comment on videos. But, one thing. What if your channel has disconnected from Google +? Mine is disconnected, but I will freak out and rage when it asks me to do that sht.
But I use an outdated YouTube on my second generation iPod touch, and the new comments have glitched it up, and the thing crashes when you look at them.
I don't have a YouTube account, but this new comment thing sucks. how can they possibly say they improved it? not to mention all those people posting "bobs army utility" and "11/16/23 boycott" which spam up the comments worth reading and how ineffective they seem to be.
