Why do you hate anime?

Why do you hate anime? And please do not start fights, this is not supposed to be a drama thread, I'm just curious to know since I've seen many anime haters here...

Nah, I haven't watched one, I personally just don't think it looks that interesting

 

I don't necessarily HATE anime, I just don't get it. The random posts about "feels" when the story is not even emotional in the slightest is one of the most annoying things on here. This section is essentially the anime section. The people here get very annoying when they post 20 anime posts every minute that get liked by the same group of 3 people, and nobody gets it but them. Someone posts "omg hitakudon and amagigabakuhitansushi almost kissed but they didnt I ALMOST HAD FEELS :( but maybe next time :3" and it gets liked by the other two in the group. This is like the secret club in the alley of the city, nobody understands but them.

Well, you can't really say that since you haven't watched anime :p
But like I said, I don't want to start a fight so...

 

I don't hate anime. I strongly dislike it.
And I strongly dislike the stupid threads about anime spamming the whole off-topic section.

Once again, I don't get what's so hard about ignoring it. For example I dislike TF2 and I see many threads about it, but I simply ignore them :p
But okay, I'll put them all in the same thread...

Well, I see less TF2 threads than anime threads.

 

If you don't like it, just ignore it then.
I happen to enjoy them and i find them hilarious.

 

I do like anime, but it's not my favourite thing, in my opinion it gets too much attention, and is often too separated from other forms of animations, almost as if it's worshipped. It's hard to tell people (I'll use otaku in this case, I mean all forms and types, including the new found ones who watch one episode and scream about it to everyone), otaku, that anime should be put with other forms of animation, as if all animation was in a library, anime like AoT would be put with the drama shows and Fantasy shows, such as Symbiotic Titan, TRON, Adventure Time and the likes. Or Lucky Star would be grouped with comedies like Regular Show, etc (none on the same channel, ofc). It annoys me that Squid Girl is in the anime section on Netflix, rather than the Comedy, or Kids section, even.

 

I am ignoring them, it's that the whole off-topic section is spammed with them.

I don't really like anime, I have heard a lot about AoT, is Mikasa a boy or a girl? Oh, and if it's in Japanese, I don't really like reading subtitles so I probably won't watch it.
