Minecraft Why Did Minecraft Pocket Edition Get Some 1.8 Items?

Recently the minecraft pc version announced the release for the 1.8 update to come out in a few months (results may vary) also, minecraft pocket edition recently came out with the 0.9.0 update giving pocket edition some of what was included in 1.7 & 1.8 (snapshots). so many questions... why only some? why not at the same time as pc? i need awnsers please!

Minecraft pocket edition works different than pc, sice you can't get java on most phoned and tablets. That's probably why

 

but mojang owns both versions so why would they make same updates all mixed up (sorry if that doesnt make any sense)

 

It means minecraft on PC has a differebt coding than MCPE, otherwise they could just copy/paste

 

yeah and what fun would it be if mcpe had all the same things as mcpc
