    description: well i was smelting some cobble and when I looked at when it was smelted it didnt turn into stone it was cracked stone brick. I was also noticing my stone missing

    Is this the 1.8 version?
    Did you refresh your minecraft and still have the same issue?
    Could it be the texture pack? Conflicting with 1.7/1.8
