What is something that another country does that you find weird?

so this community is placed all over the world so I am curious what is something you guys find weird that another country's culture does?

Examples: Driving on the left side of the road in Differnt countries, or having free refills in america

 

Drving left. In my country we drive right. So it is kinda strange for me.

 

The Imperial System is weird, I use the Metric System

My country views dogs and cats as pets so it's a bit weird to see some other countries eating these animals like any other regular food.

 

Same. I find that weird too.

 

Driving on the right side
Eating weird insects (cockroach, centipede, etc etc) like any other food
America's measurement system thingy

 

Not letting women drive.

 

That and how due to their very own religion women have to cover themselves up completley-- no particular hate for the religion, I just find it weird.

 

Death sentence in some American states.

 

Somehow I'm scared when I see women covering their entire body & their face. They can't cover their face when praying though

As a Japanese, I want to say,
American Sushis are shit. Well, all of you must eat Japanese sushis, Japanese sashimis. It tastes good. They are true taste of fishes.

I find America to be weird because they seem to be less about their people and more about money and war because their healthcare is so much worse than ours. I can literally go and get a check up for free right now (or when the clinic opens) and most medicine is cheap, then becomes cheaper through medicare.

Countries highly maintained through religion baffle me. I'm not religious at all so that may be why but to run your system off a belief that seems implausible is just ??

 

-Not getting universal/"free" healthcare
-Not taking shoes off in your house

 

i live in america and find it weird that we still use the imperial system

i also find it weird how the only metric unit we commonly use is the liter (2L bottle of soda)
