What are your origins?

Helloo, this is a thread about where your origins to your special skills came from!

Sort of like, how I LEOVE to do digital art, and athenswill likes to write music, and how albino also became good at art, stuff like that. You basically write where your origins of doing your specialties came from.

Well, to a good start, here's mine:

When I first joined the forums, I really didn't have anything I liked to do. I watched people's threads, and wondered what I could try doing myself. When I first saw albino's "Cartoonize" thread, I was inspired to try doing digital art. It was this year, 2013, when I started digital art. I wanted to also try proving myself by trying digital art, because in real life, just a few months before I was active and watching the forums, around june/july...I won an art contest, in real life. It was against adults, kids, teens, etc. But anyways, since I was good at art in real life, 'as most people say...' I wanted to try it out on Digital.
That's how I became a digital artist, and then this is how I started animation.
The very first website I used to animate, was a FREAKING STUPID one, (yeh its that bad,) where the frames are extremely slow, and its kinda hard to draw for meh there cause there isnt a paint bucket tool and there's a lot of stuff missing that could help, and there was also only a limited amount of colors.
Anyways, if you guys remember, I made really tiny short animations. If you were in the old dark neon blueish forums, you could maybe remember I made a thread where it was an animation of a green spaces cat. That was the first animation I ever made. People liked it, so it inspired me to do more, so I did so. After that, I searched for REAL and LEGIET animating programs, and drawing programs. The very first thing I found that wasn't literally made for little kids, was "Disney.com/create." That was where I was finally about to use any color I wanted, and able to use paint bucket, and shade really smoothly like albino does in her drawings. I made some drawings there, but it escelated pretty quickly and I kinda forgot about animating. So then I started digital art all over again. During THAT time, I was a Pink Flying Walking Hippo. :p
After doing those disney digital art programs, I went off in search for animation one more time. I couldn't help but find a really cool website name "Blender." I actually was able to make really good animations there, and it was really easy too xD, but sadly....I wasn't ever able to show my stuff from there except my .Png files. If you ever saw my 3D-HD name of myself, that was in bright neon pink/purple, I had it set as my avatar and signature on the old forums for a tiny while. After using blender, I STILL wanted something just DRAW with, since sadly sculpting in Blender was just a pain-in-da-ASS, other than everything else. ;_;
I stumbled upon a website called "ToonBoom", and then I took off in animating as I do now. I was finally able to do REAL animation, although it's not the actual "Pro, and Advanced" version. I am only using the version for teenagers, even though I'm not a teenager...But still, It should last a while, even though I had to pay all of my money at the time to get it. (60$). I didn't want to get the kid version, because it's...Too easy. I wanted to become a pro. <3

But yeah, as of now I practice animation and I do it everyday, even though you guys never saw that one animation that took me a month...Yes, a month. I wasn't able to show it because the file size was too big....Even for tinypic. I didn't feel like putting it on youtube either. :/ But it was just basically about a 15,000 frame animation of a story of how Earthbenders, waterbenders, firebenders, and airbenders came together. And eventually found evil blood benders and blah blah bleh blah but yeh. :( sry I wasn't able to show it tho.But anyways, that's the story of how I originated to become what I am now! <3
