What are the forums like?

Hey i'm a new member to the forums and i would like to find out what it's like being a 'veteran' to the forums. I would like to know about the community, the staff, and everything really. Thank you :)

 

In a whole, I'd say we are like a family. You'll soon catch on to things.

Honestly, I'd say you aren't a forum veteran if you weren't part of the old forums. So sorry @ProxKipper and @GoobyHasAnOpinion, you're NOT forum veterans, despite the (meaningless) Well-Known Member title thing. I am a veteran since I was part of the old forums since almost the beginning, and I can tell you, once you get enough into the forums, it will become a habit to check compulsively, and it will become hard to force yourself to leave.

nor do I consider myself one...

 

Well, it's kind of implied, considering the OP asked what it's like to be a "veteran".
