In the past week or two, two people have tried to befriend me on Minecraft and asked for my Skype, both female. When I added them, they asked to call me so I did. In the first call we were talking for a little while then she turned on her video camera and was performing sexual acts to herself, as with the second one which happened yesterday.

Do not add people you don't trust on any type of social media as it's risky and sometimes something bad can happen. There is something or someone or people going around asking for your Skype username, do not tell them but if you do and they do something like that, block them instantly.
I'm just letting out a warning just in case anyone asks you to add them on Skype that you hardly know. I do not know who else this has happened to.

 

When ppl ask me I just give them a fake account :P

 

My video wasn't on, they just turned theirs on ._.
It was a normal call but they both turned on video after a while.

And that kids, is why you should never add people on Skype who you don't trust. You're risking your privacy and your identity. Be careful out there, buddy.

 

I've gotten two requests already. Didn't accept them though.

Just be careful who you add on Skype, I'm not sure but I think you can report them to Microsoft, no guarantee they'll do anything

Never add people you do not know.
And this is towards all players who do this daily. What happened to him, can happen to you. Know who/what to add. And please do your best to stay careful.

 

I'm glad you made this thread. It shows that you shouldn't give out personal information to people you don't know. Be careful who you add on Skype, and get to know them first.

 

Now that I think about it, it is quite funny
It's not even worth the time reporting them to Microsoft they wouldn't do anything about it. :/

 

I usually get to know them a little before I add them on Skype so I never had one of those situations, where they are not who you think they are

 

And that, is why you should do real life stuff instead of skyping with strangers :P
