want to clear some misconseptions about the EULA

so over the last few days alot of drama have been up thanks to the blacklist
and with this drama bring's very common thing's
misconception
and people saying stuff that is not true to try get people to go against Mojang
and angry hate comment's without wanting to listen to reason
so I thought I would give some more light on this as it keeps on happening
and I for one am sick of it

1: this was Made so Mojang can get more Money
This is 100% not true, why would they when they already have money from the accounts they sold, and before you point at realm's, it had nothing to do with it and that is a fact, they even gave there reason's

2: lack of communication with Mojang about this
Look guy's, 2 years ago when this was first anounced they made it clear as day what they wanted and even gave us suggestions on what we should do about it
is it our fault we told them to F off for 2 year's about these rule's, yes, we did the crime here, not them
and it has been reviled that server owners breaking the EULA where given email's saying that this was a problem and it needed to be fixed, or the server will be blacklisted, a 7 day deadline to comply even though we been ignoring it for almost 2 YEAR'S, if it where me I would have blacklisted them off the bat, and legal action will be taken if needed
that is good communication in my book as they made it VERY clear what they wanted

3: no reply's from email's
I could email them complaining about this and trying to middle ground
no, they made it crystal clear what they want and what would happen if you did not listen
is it there fault you guys are nagging and not listening
you ignored them still, they punish you like they said they would
it is our fault for not payying attention to something that is clear
and most of the time these email's are rude and childish
and you ignoring them, I am the same, I hate being ignored, they told us to do these crystal clear rule's for 2 YEAR'S!!! if you do not know what they want after 2 years I would suggest you go back to pre school and learn the basic's

4: server's will not make any money as there is nothing to sell
this is a stupid one, I can name a good amount of thing's that comply with the EULA without even trying

5: people will not buy cosmetic item's and the server will die
HOW DO YOU KNOW!!! do you have a crystal ball that let's you see the furture so you know it will happen????
this comment is purely ignorant
and if people do not donate, then they did not care about the server to beguin with, only people who cared about the server will donate to keep it up

6: I can no longer buy kits and be OP
this one is the one that get's brought up the most(from what I can see)
all I can say is this
why did you buy the game if you had no intent on playing it properly??
It could be as if I went into a game shop and buy a new game
only to give it to someone else with money and say
"I cannot be bothered to beat it, take £10 and do it for me"
again, why buy the game if you are not bothered to play it
it remove's all value for why you brought the game
to play it
you buy game's to play game's, not because you have money in your pocket and are too lazy to beat it yourself


There are hundred's more but I thought I would list the main one's, since if I where to put them all, I would be here till the next centery
but if there is any you want cleared up please comment below and I will tell you why

Also this was not made to draw Hate or drama, if you want to put immature Hate comment's I would strongly suggest you do it somewhere else

this is aimed at the community since as you can see, alot of people are getting pissed at Mojang
just trying to lay down fact's so people who do not know the issue will have an idea on what is going on
as when people are upset they will say anything, even if it is fake, to try get them on there side

 

people should have complyed to beguin with
they have every right to do this to the server owner's
the owner's ignored Mojang's rule's for 2 year's
basicly telling them to F off
and now when mojang punish them for ignoring them for 2 years they get pissy
there is a saying for this sinereo

it is not aimed at the owner's
it is aimed at the community
who are being incredably childish about this situation

 

because they are lazy and do not want to lose there OP stuff??

Mineplex and Hypixel complyed, and they are still up, but like I said before
server's that people care about will stay up
server's that people do not care about will not
or do we think there should be thousand's of empty server's with nobody but the owner's on

I have nothing against you saying that you agree with the EULA, but i really dislike the way you interpreted the thread.

Lol... no need to make that much of a big deal out of it... you could've interpreted that thread in a way more delicate & non-toxic way while sending the same message as you did.
