Update and Farewells

Hello!

Right, where to start? I'm leaving.

As some of you may know I've joined the Royal Marines, my application process has been long and hard, but my god, it's been bloody worth it. I've met some incredible lads and I'm off back to see them again for my 8 months Recruit training. It's been a long journey as we started off with 2000 applicants for my troop, but with all the knowledge tests, fitness tests, we ended up with 17 people remaining.

I'm starting on the 9th of October, that's it, 6 days until my life will never be the same.

It's been roughly 6-7 years since I first joined this server, and let me say this, it's been too long. But I've loved every single moment of it. I love you all, from the bottom of my heart, you've been my family. I don't think I would be who I am today if it wasn't for the people I've met on this here server, and I want to thank you all for the best roller coaster of my life. I know we've had some ups and downs, but that happens in all families and relationships, but when we come back, we come back stronger.

And for all you lot out there you have a dream, fucking go for it. Listen, I was a tiny little lad that live in Spain, I was like a twig, 5 years later, I'm doing one of the hardest military training's in the world, and by god I'm going to smile all the way through it. But yeah, if you want something, go for it. It most likely won't be easy, your dreams and goals, you might get a few cuts and bruises, broken bones on the way, but they re-heal and go away eventually, success doesn't.

So yeah, this may be one of my last posts on this forum, I'll be around for a few more days until I go catch my plane, so I can say goodbye to you personally for those who wish to comment.
