uhm... does this count as Plaigarism?

So today i was browsing on youtube and i found this video by SkydoesMinecraft. i think they Ripped off Build it. what do you think? Tell me. They didnt even give credit to Jerry and Harry. they said they came up with it when i went to there server

This is basically the exact same thing as Buildit....

 

Since as JH don't have a copyright on BuildIt, it's not plagiarism, so it's okay. If they somehow put a copyright(JH) then someone's going to have to notify thrm

 

I don't think it does actually.

 

Plagiarism is the copying of something in writing form and not giving your source credit. This doesn't require credit to be given. And it may be a rip off, however, its under a different name, so its fine (sadly).

 

That's basically saying whoever has spleef copied the original creator or survival games

 

It can't really be plagerism, because they made their own plugin, so it's fair.

 

I agree with homieboy. Sky obviously got the idea from J&H because he played build it on a video. I personally think they should be proud of this because more and more people can put this on their servers and that would make J&H the creators of a very popular minigame like the owner of spleef. But I do think it was rude of Adam to say he thought of it himself.

 

I say half and half.
One half because they did take the idea from J&H
The other half J&H have no trademark, copyright, etc. on build it :/

 

Add on: If you watch the video, it's basically saying they invented that game, it was all their idea.
