http://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/15/gunfire-heard-jets-seen-flying-in-turkish-capital-of-ankara.html Turkey’s army have attempted to seize power in the country, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said. Bloomberg's Isobel Finkel reports on "What'd You Miss?" (Source: Bloomberg) I'm about to cry.. What the fuck is happening..
Although its a shame, things like this have been attempted and failed, things like this have been happening for decades, nothing is likely going to happen. Although I do feel sorry for the people living there, it must be frightening, sad and a lot of other emotions. For anyone that lives there, please stay calm and safe.
I have a questions to ask. What exactly did people in the coup want? Because I am not particularly fond of the Turkish government either. To be perfectly honest here, unless these people were Anarchists or Communists/Facists, then I do not see a huge problem with a coup, aside from the violence. To be more clear, if the people revolting are any better than the current government, I would take it, albeit it would be 'un-democratic'. That is far-fetched because I am pretty sure that if they are revolting using violence, they probably aren't looking for a better government, but rather their own personal vendetta. But I still wanted to ask to question. EDIT: I think I found the awnser to my question: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...ntry-once-dominated-by-generals-the-army-see/ Obviously American media wants none of this.
When me and my mum saw this on the news while eating french toast we both just were like dead. If we can rest in peace why cant we live in peace? ~A quote I found on @Katy_ 's instagram
