TRAPPED Author: Theminer30 Prologue There was no more time. No more people. No more world. I had to keep running. Keep on pushing through. I could hear him breathing behind me as I ran. It was so loud there was no way I could lose him. All of a sudden, there was no noise. No footsteps of mine, no breathing or anything. I've lost my hearing. There was no way of me being able to know if he was still following or not. It got darker. And darker. Suddenly, I knew there was no way out...I was trapped. Suddenly I could hear things again. I heard breathing and my footsteps again. I could see again! The bad part was...HE was right behind me. So, what do you think? I'll probably make Chapter One sometime later today/tomorrow.
Chapter One. It was a day like any other. I had gone to school, barely missed a tardy, ran a mile in Gym, headed home with some homework and then sat down to relax and watch TV. On TV, I decided to look at my favorite show, Adventure Time, and their upcoming episodes that were not new, since the season was over. One of them had said "Lost." I had already watched every episode of the series, so I decided that his must've been a season premiere or something. But, the description bar didn't say "Repeat" in the beginning, nor did it say "New". It was just blank. There wasn't even anything there. I set it to record for the DVR. Tomorrow afternoon, I hopped on the couch and started to watch the video. It was almost identical to the episode "King Worm", but it wasn't. First off, instead of a worm, it was...nothing. There were the same rooms and characters, but Finn's dream spirit always said "Lost" instead of quickly saying something or being an easter egg. After the video ended, I decided to investigate this and search it up on the internet. Of course, I found no searches. I decided that I was just losing my mind and decided to take a nap. When I woke up and opened the DVR, the video was no longer there. All the other recordings from previous dates were, but just not that one. I thought of me watching it was just a dream and I had just waken up. I decided to go on the itsjerryandharry forums and post about it in "Real Life Stuff". I logged into the forums, and my computer just force quit Google Chrome. I opened up Chrome again and the same thing kept on happening. I tried to go in as a Guest to see if the same thing would happen. It did. The computer was preventing me to tell anyone from what happened. I saw a picture on my desktop for a split second. It looked like shades of light green and dark green. I knew something was going on, so I decided to tell my friends tomorrow when I went back to school. As my mom drove me to school, there were no cars, and I hadn't brought my cell phone with me as there were not allowed. I was dropped off and my mom drove home. I tried to open the doors with my pass, but it wouldn't work. I saw a sign on the left of the door. It said "School Canceled for mourning of the death of a fellow student." I wondered who it was and flipped over the board to see what it was, as it seemed to continue. It said "Our student, M**** ***z will be missed." Part of it was scratched out by something, but I knew it was me. How could the school think I had DIED? I was well alive. As I continued onward, there was a tree in my path I hadn't seen. I went right through it, realizing that I just defied the laws of physics. I took a left to continue onward to home, ignoring what had just happened and saw that I was at the entrance of the school...again! My back felt lighter too, and I saw I didn't have my backpack anymore. I heard a voice in my head that kept on telling me "You can't escape if you don't know where you are." I didn't know where I was. I heard breathing behind me. As I turned around, the scenery changed, and I saw the giant figure's face. END OF CHAPTER ONE
Awesome Btw I was listening to a song and it plays dramatic music for like 10 seconds or something and coincidentally it started playing when I read "I didn't know where I was" xD
CHAPTER 2 "You have 48 hours to try and get back to your house." said the giant. "What?!" I shouted. "What does that even mean?!" The giant teleported behind me and then threw me 500 ft. away from where I originally was. I span while I was thrown, so I had no idea where the heck I even was. He came over to me a few seconds later and caught me before I hit the ground. "You are trapped in a false reality and have to get out by finding what's real and what's not. If you don't in 48 hours, you will be stuck here forever." "But...can't I just..." "What?! Where'd the school go? And the grass..." "The giant threw a spork at me and said "Time starts now." I was in a house. More specifically, my friend's house. He was crying on the couch, while his dad was working on the computer. His little brother was running around dropping tears, and his mom was just cooking with a glum look on her face. I said "Hey Andrew. What's wrong?" but he didn't hear me. He kept lying down on the couch crying. I patted his back, but my hand went through him. I realized that I was a spectator that couldn't do anything. I didn't see their dog Devo yet, but I had an idea where he was. I went upstairs and looked in their closets. Devo wasn't in there. He was sleeping on the couch in the living room. I pet him for a few seconds and the scenery yet again changed. I knew that I had to find something real and touch it. I was in a torture chamber. Everyone I knew and loved was either being squashed, chomped together by spikes, or hanged. I even saw me having the worst one. Limbs being slowly teared out while my blood was being taken from me. I knew I wasn't going to sleep tonight. "What could be real in a torture chamber...nothing seems real here! Heck, even the blood doesn't seem real, it's glitter!" I found my dog, Toby, strangling out of 2 figures with a T-Shirt and shorts that said "Have a 666 day!" whose hands that were trying to grab him and put him in a torture chamber. I knew what was going on. I had to pet Toby. I decided to attack by surprise. Knock them off-guard. "I hope these Karate lessons I've been taking for over half my life pay off..." I muttered to myself. I kicked the fat one in the kneecap. He didn't budge, but he looked in pain. He looked at me, and decided to try and grab me. Before he could, I stomped on his toes as hard as I could, kneed him in the...place where you don't want to mention, and flipped him over my chest. The second one reacted more slowly, but was much more agile and faster than the fat one was. Even more agile than I was. I tried to keep up with him, and the scenery changed. I realized it didn't have to be from my life that was real: It could be from anyone's life! I didn't have to touch something either: It just had to re-in-act something... I was in a dump. Nearby, a Portal looking incinerator was there. I could see...Chell...picking up the Companion Cube and throwing it in there. As she walked into the distance, and never looked back, I decided to look in the incinerator. I felt a push behind me, and I fell in. Looking back, it was a hologram of iamdeoxys that pushed me in. Before I blacked out, all I could remember was a voice in my head saying "Tick tock goes the clock. Fail once and you get bonked." END OF CHAPTER TWO Just saying something here. I'm glad that you're enjoying the story that I'm making here. It's hard to try and come up with details, and then writing it down on paper. I even have to exclude out details that didn't seem like it would fit in with the nature of my story. Anyways, there's a hint in this chapter on what the next one will be based off of.
CHAPTER 3 I woke up in a bed. I felt fine, but I saw that everywhere on my body was burnt. As I got up and started to walk around, I noticed that I had a french accent. There were signs on the walls as I started walking around that were saying "Intelligence <---" and "Battlements --->" It looked like I was in my favorite game, TF2! And if I was french...then I'd have to be the Spy. It was scary noticing this. If I died, then that was probably for good. And how long was I asleep for? 6 hours or something? I decided to vanish, but I had the Dead Ringer on me. I decided to see which gun I had. I had The Ambassador on me. My knife was Your Eternal Reward, my favorite knife. Knowing I could fake my death, I decided to run onto the battle field. I saw a Sniper aiming for my head, so I armed my Dead Ringer. BOOM! There I was...lying on the ground, dead. While in effects of the Dead Ringer, I decided to high tail it to the sniper. When my Dead Ringer went off, I made sure no one noticed. I saw a Heavy notice me and give me a Thumbs Up! He shouted "Giant" to me. I knew that the Giant was still here, spectating me to see if I could do it. I didn't know why, but I still proceeded. As I went towards the sniper, I saw a Razorback on him. I slowly removed it, carefully, and then backstabbed him. I BECAME the Sniper. This allowed me to get into enemy lines. As I went to the breifcase, I backstabbed the Engie, sapped his machines and grabbed the breifcase. Of course, I was undisguised, but my Dead Ringer was re-activated. Out of nowhere, a rocket launcher hit my back, and I was on the ground. As the Medic came along, ready to saw my bones, I activated the Dead Ringer and safely got out alive. While they were distracted and the Soldier went away, I headshot the Medic and took the breifcase. Taking a different way out would help, since I know a way that not a lot of people do. I safely got back to my base avoiding 3 snipers and 4 heavies, and retrieved the breifcase. But the scenery didn't change. I was still on the battle field, and marked for death. My burning marks got worse, so I went into the sewers go rinse them off. That's when I started to drown. I remembered that I had trouble swimming. As my air went off one by one, I could feel my body getting tighter and tighter. My Dead Ringer wasn't in my pocket, and I was done for. As soon as my last breath went off, the scenery finally changed. I was in a dark hallway. I looked at a nearby clock that said "36 hrs." I realized that was my time here, and I had spent at least 8 hours in the bed. As I continued down the hallway, I heard deep breathing. It sounded like Darth Vader's breathing. I heard a lightsaber being pulled out. Now I knew who it was. On my side, I also found a light saber. I opened it and faced my opponent. There he was, Darth Maul. Someone older than me pushed me to the side and decided to fight him. I realized this was the part where Obi-Wan Kenobi's master dies to Darth Maul! I decided to join in the fight, and got a bruise on my left leg from the saber. As he finished off my master, I decided to go attack him full charged. He kicked me over the side and I used the force to grab my lightsaber. Trying to pull myself up, Darth Maul laughed and started to put his lightsaber in my fingers. I jumped over him, sliced him in half and pushed him down the dark hole. Same thing that happened in Star Wars I, so I wasn't surprised. The scenery however, didn't change. And the walls were closing in. I had no choice but to jump down in the bottomless pit, to no end and to no return. END OF CHAPTER 3
CHAPTER 4 I kept on falling for a long time. Finally, I saw some light beneath me. I turned myself around so that my butt would land and I wouldn't take as much damage. I hit the ground, and I realized I was in the school bathroom. I did my business, drank from the nearby water fountain, washed my hands and dried them. I heard a phone ring. I looked outside, and to my left there was a classroom. There was no one in there, so I decided to pick up the phone. The scenery changed, and I was in my front lawn. The grass was more decayed and there were no flowers or bushes. There was no tree or fruits, which meant no mosquitoes. Happily skipping to the door, I tried to turn the knob. It was locked, to no surprise. I looked in the mailbox to see if there was anything inside. There was a treasure map. It showed me a layout of my neighborhood. There was a bunch of red dotted lines leading to the top of the slide in the nearby park. As I headed on through, the sky turned darker, and stars started to appear. The lights turned on, and I continued to walk to the park. It seemed like I wasn't getting anywhere. Everytime I went to the entrance to the park, I ended up back at the pool entrance. Seeing as this was strange, I decided to go the long way. There was a tall gate blocking me from getting through. It was unlocked, so it was pretty easy to get through. Getting to the park, I started to climb my way to the slide. Gravity was very strong where I went, so every time I got near the top, I lost my grip. There was only one other way. Climbing the slide. I used to always climb the slide easily. Because gravity kept pushing me down, I felt like I had a dumbbell on me that weighed 2k lbs. Finally, after my arms aching so bad I reached the top and found a note. Picking it up, I was at the front of my door. I heard a bell ring in the distance. I counted how many times it rung, and it rung 6 times. I knew I didn't waste 6 hours, that's how much time was left. Instead of a note being in my hand, there was a key now. Unlocking the door, I rushed inside and found myself in a dark area. Looking behind me, I saw something. A male indeed. He rushed towards me, breathing loudly. He had a knife in his hand, and a sinister smile across his face. He had no lips, and that creeped me out. I started to run as fast as I could. There was a narrow hallway up ahead, and that was the only path that was left. I heard 2 bells. Now I knew my time was almost up. My legs burning up, I couldn't run much longer. I heard one bell. The memories I had were the world blowing apart and everyone dying in space. There was no more time. No more people. No more world. I had to keep running. Keep on pushing through. I could hear him breathing behind me as I ran. It was so loud there was no way I could lose him. All of a sudden, there was no noise. No footsteps of mine, no breathing or anything.
