Hello! So I've been recently researching the main causes of depression in our youth today, and one of the main reasons is online cyber-bullying. To a certain extent, we could say that it has destroyed lives. There are channels with millions of subscribers on YouTube that are dedicated to feeding off of enraged players to entertain their viewers, however those who truly have a conscience wouldn't take pleasure in hurting others. The internet today is very dangerous, and the more information you release, the more vulnerable you are to these horrific events.

To all who have been victims of cyber-bullying, you are mainly feeling embarrassment, depression, and most likely regret for acting the way you did. An online bully seeks to make you feel worse than they already do for power. It is normal to rage, we all do, and as we grow older, we don't feel the same feelings of anger as we normally do, since we mature. You're not at fault for just being human and reacting, it's normal to feel anger, it's the online trolls that prey upon these feelings that are the viruses to look out for.

I have compiled a list of sources to those who are in need of help:

    http://puresight.com/Cyberbullying/dos-and-donts-for-cyber-bullying-victims.html
    http://www.helpguide.org/articles/abuse/cyberbullying.htm

These three cites also included the same information that is important.

The main point is, online trolls are everywhere, and the whole "thug life" mentality is quite shameful. Those who act like this are most likely not happy with themselves, and have to revert to making others feel just as bad as them so they feel that they can fit in with the rest of the community, and receive some sort of "praise".

In conclusion, it's hard to forget or forgive, but hopefully this thread can shed some light on to those who need it.

Have a great day/night and stay safe.

Cyber bullying is rampant, especially in Youtube, with all the edgy teens and whatnot. Ignoring them is the best option, as they only seek attention.
