Hello. I wanted to make this thread asking you guys for some tips on making your homework, how to study better, how to get better at tests and all that stuff. Mostly because I'm doing bad at school and I feel like I should change that. So just give me some tips and it would probably help out some other people too!
Do your homework AS SOON AS YOU GET HOME. Then, you can get it out of the way and do your own things without risk of you finishing it in the middle of the night. For studying, if you're studying words or a language, use flashcards, they'll help you a lot. For other things, really just do the stuff that you're bad at in that subject and work on it by doing problems or coming up with ways to solve it better. Getting better at tests is really all about studying. Remember what you did, and how you're going to apply that to the problem on the test that you're taking. That's really it for me, so...yeah.
If you don't get something, ask for help. The teacher would be happy to explain something to you if you need it. Homework is one of your key things to getting good grades on tests, and getting into a good college. E-mail your teacher if you need help at home.
It depends on your interests. For example, I find that I suck at psychology and english, but I excel at physics and calculus. I like music too. Whenever I do homework, I always listen to music to keep me concentrated. Also, try not have these forums up when you do homework cause you'll likely get distracted. When studying, do it in between breaks and watch yourself. Like you could study one thing for half an hour then eat for half an hour (I'm kidding, don't eat every break.) Make sure you watch yourself and the time cause it may get really easy to focus on that fun thing.
