Its kind of hard to do this on my profile, so I thought I would make a thread. So I drafted something for my info page, Im curious to see what you guys think: Spoiler: What it looks like Hello There! You know what, Ill let one of my all time favorite poems, The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost tell you who I am Spoiler: The road not taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. You see many people like to stick to the popular opinion, despite the fact that they dont disagree. Many people re use someone elses prospective. I dont. I am going think critical. I am going to, respectfully, state my mind. I am going to make you think. I am going to challenge you. I am going to put forth my best. I am going to stand strong in what I believe in. I am going to be your firend, or someone you hate. I am going to fuck up. I am going to admit it. I am going to make you laugh. I am going to give you a new prospective on things. I am critical. I am unsilent. I am thoughtful. I am smart. I am The Scout. So Im curious to see if you have any suggestions about this, or if I should add something.
Personally, I like it. I think your resolutions are pretty cool too. The road not taken by robert frost is actually something we discussed in Language Arts last year, and I personally feel it has a way deeper meaning than just a "Road not taken".
