    Actually, the Earth is flat. It was proved during a secret space mission back in 1596. Here is proof:

    Actually, The title of this thread is right. The earth isnt truly a sphere, But rather a shape called an Oblate spheroid. The earth only appears to be round from our perspective but it actually bulges a bit around the equator. giving it a sort of an oval shape.

    Science everybody, It's quite fun to learn. :)
