Taking fall damage while in mid air

In which minigame/server does the bug occur: Survival and probably skyblock (or any other server in which you can donate for flying)

Not a server issue.
Works in xbox too, its just a minecraft issue.

 

When you aren't flying, you take damage. You can save your fall by quickly doing /fly again when your near the ground, and just drop yourself while flying.

Basically,

Flying = No fall damage
Disable Flying = Damage

But, if your problem is while your taking damage MID-AIR, then I suppose that's just either that mine craft is lagging you before you take the fall, or it's just being derpy ;) Might as well just be an MC/Lag bug, as CrazyIcicle stated.
