[Survival] Chest locks getting removed!!!

So i had some chest i placed and it got the "Created a private chest sucuessfully" thingy but than i check on the chest later and they all said when i did /unlock *punch* "This chest doesnt have a lock"

I just /lock ed them again.

More than likely, this had happened to me in the nether. Where did it happen for you?

Did you set the chests down then claim the land? If so, that's the glitch.

Set new chest down and switch the items, if in claimed land.

I hate when that happens

 

For some reason, some protections tend to be more "permanent" than others. Example: A furnace I locked 2 months ago is still locked today, but a sign I put on someone's door was unlocked the next day. Also, protections with /cmodified players or flags tend to glitch more. This was a huge problem when our faction had a lockdown, because we kept on finding security holes everywhere.

 

I'm pretty sure this happens when the server restarts... But it's really on/off and not really reliable
