Staff Complaint

Hello,

Im just here to complain about something what people complain about A LOT.

It happens in these forums:
- Report Abuse
- Staff applications
- Help
etc.

What happens?

• People make silly threads and mods never deny it.
• People make applications and they're never replied by a Moderator or never denied if need to be denied.

My point is, that Moderators are not replying to threads. I've made an application for staff, and since I made it, I've never ever got a reply from a single Moderator.
Can I make my application again or should I leave it?

The mods have lives you know. They dont have to reply to every single thread

 

I know, but they still need to you know, come on some times.

 

Here we go again

Report Abuse: Mods don't have the time to look through ALL the threads made in 24 hours. There are different mods in different time zones, you need to be patient

Help: Mods do look at them and reply if the question isn't answered

Staff applications: This is clearly obvious. There are over 100 staff apps that have no mod replies, i can only guess that they leave it because there are too many to reply to.

Finally, mods have life's too. They can't be on 24/7 to moderate the server and let Minecraft rule their life. Also, they have exam times when they are slightly less active to study.

 

There is normally all day at least 1 mod on EDIT: Look how many mods are on right now

 

Their top priority is their lives. Not spending 24/7/365 on a server. Mods may see the thread but never reply.

 

We try our best to cycle through and help everyone, but there just aren't enough of us to go around. Sad but true. We try to come on as often as possible and we don't have enough time to respond to everything. We do take care of as many reports possible (if not all), questions CAN be answered by the helpful community, and we also can't catch everything. Like I said, not very many of us /:

 

Thats why we need to start getting new mods, there are thousands of applications not responded, so if we accept 2 or 3 then we can put those Mods on trail and see how they go, then as they go we can either accept or deny them as a staff member to J&H.

It's not just two or three Mods being accepted. A much higher amount, near 50, will be hired. You can only imagine the amount of time and effort being put into the idea.

 

Like silent said, they are going to add a lot of mods. I'm sure they will take care of most of your problems then

 

So should I re-post my application? Yes or no, I really don't know right now ;-;

 

ok lets do some explaining, the mods do have lifes as davy said but theyy also cannot be on the forums and do other stuff aswell so its mostly whenever they have time, second of all staff apps are not getting check because it will be whenever staff is need but a mod did say that they are forwarding the good staff apps for owners and admins to check and read through, also it is a bit hard to juggle your irl life and your server/mod life because your a mod for a server and a forum so it is hard. also about the app thing if your app has been denyed and its been a month then repost if you wish. if not. just edit it. :) i hope this information has been useful

 

We don't have to reply or check the forums if we don't want to. We have a choice.

 

We aren't FORCED to go on these forums at all. We aren't these robots that were created to help out every single person with every single need. The mods are actual people too, and we have actual lives outside of this community. We go around browsing the forums looking for something to reply to and help. There are also far too many staff applications to go through at the moment, so just be patient.
