Spam of Notifications

So when I am in parkour area, I am just playing, then all of a sudden I notice my full chat bar is spammed with "Play the exclusive parkours! Type /store" And after awhile it gets pretty annoying. Well, the announcements are set off to go in intervals, and since no one was talking/chat was turned off, the notifications were the only things there ;)

 

I mean it all happened suddenly, it didn't happen over awhile, I was looking at chat, then all of a sudden the chat got flooded with those messages, it all happened instantly, not over intervals.

 

Maybe the connection between you and the server was breaking out and the messages weren't getting through, and when they finally did, it did that?
Were they appearing normal BEFORE the spam happened?

 

Everything was normal, but what you said was possible, I'll just go by what you said.
